A Few Helpful Articles

International SEO is becoming a hot topic.  There have been a few other articles written that I think are good introductions to the arena and worth taking a peek at:

  • Bruce Clay Inc’s December newsletter is a “Travel Guide for International SEO.” Virginia Nussey covered a lot of the basics, from doing language research to site architecture, and making local connections for link building.
  • Michael Gray wrote an article for DirJournal about the all important consideration of language and geography.  Site architecture is discussed as well.
  • Another article Michael has written focuses on giving search engines clues about your website, location, and the different languages you’re optimizing for.  This is a definite must read, as getting found in search engines abroad is crucial to your success.

Happy reading.  If you stumble across any other helpful articles, please let us know!
