Have you found yourself wondering how on earth you’re going to find local 2.0 websites for countries other than your own? Greg Sterling has alerted us that Michael Bauer of Koano has has helped us in this task with his latest site, Local-20. Here you’ll find information, screen shots, and reviews of their functionality on a wide selection of local 2.0 sites for over 25 countries, including the US, UK, Germany, France and Spain. The websites range from simple classifieds sites to ones that have cutting edge design and interactivity. The list is very Euro-centric for right now, as Michael seems to be in Europe researching local search and websites (according to a note on Koano).  Hopefully the country list will grow over time.

Taking advantage of local search early on can help any website, particularly one operating as an international face for your business. Put yourself in front of your customers and draw in that local traffic!  Do you know of any other local 2.0 sites and resources?
